Hello and welcome to Da Koo. I first established Da Koo as a part-time business back in 2005 after working with computer systems and the internet for a number of years. During my career I have developed client-server and web-based applications through full time employment, IT sub-contracts or working as a freelance web developer and designer for a number of organisations.
Based in London, I now work full time on freelance projects, undertaking the majority of development work personally. As there are always times when one pair hands will not do, I supervise a small collection of partner developers, all of whose work is personally checked for quality. To ensure quality service I manage all projects personally. Da Koo is a small business that offers a wide range of web development and design services . Specialising in open source web applications my main objective is to deliver
user friendly functional applications.

Web design involves the structure of the website including the information architecture(navigation schemes and naming conventions), the layout and the pages (wireframes or page schematics are created to show consistent placement of items including functional features), and the conceptual design with branding.

Web development is a broad term for the work involved in developing a web site for the Internet (World Wide Web) or an intranet (a private network). This can include web design, web content development, client liaison, client-side/server-side scripting, web server and network security configuration, and e-commerce development.
